I thoroughly enjoyed the blog post and the accompanying pictures. Really puts it into perspective for me. I’m so impressed that a non-governmental group is so diligent about this area in Mexico.

Great article and awesome pictures. It’s heartening to see organisations like Centro Ecologico Akumal adopting such significant efforts to promote public awareness in the area – that too free of charge. Definitely on my travel list. Pity the comments so far have been about a typo!

Nice post and photos!

By the modern geography, Mexico belongs to North America.

At least it is what states in new Atlas and school books

Yeah that was my bad. Thanks for pointing it out. To be fair, the geographical faux pas was in my post to the WSA Facebook page and not in the article by Elizabeth Lacey.
