Today, we\u2019ll be doing a photoblog of the field trip to a local fishing village at Pa Klok.<\/p>\n

These shrimp were collected from the seagrass bed at Pa Klok.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

There\u2019s a small mangrove nursery where Rhizophora apiculata and R. mucronata saplings are growing. The saplings are grown to 1 m height before transplanting.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

We found a small patch of Halophila beccarii at Pa Klok! H. beccarii was recently listed as \u201cVulnerable\u201d in the IUCN Species Red List.<\/p><\/div>\n

A modified trawling device used by a local fisherman.<\/p><\/div>\n

Most of the fish caught in this way are juvenile rabbitfish (Siganus sp.)<\/p><\/div>\n
